Gestures in time with speech
The robot’s hands move in time with its words, like those of someone who speaks with feeling. The moves carry no particular meaning, but they bring the speech to life and the robot no longer stands still.

Gestures that fit the context
Talking about a direction, the robot points the way; talking about itself, it points to itself. The gesture always follows from what it says.

With robotic hands the gestures become more precise: the robot points with a finger or counts on its fingers.
